I’m Gina—the owner of Pretty and Practical. I live in Pittsburgh with my husband and three kiddos, which means I understand how quickly life (and stuff) can pile up. I know how overwhelming a home can feel when there’s just too much stuff. I was constantly picking up, feeling overstimulated, and comparing my real, lived-in home to the “perfect” spaces on social media—until I realized most of them weren’t practical. Real homes aren’t meant to be perfect; they’re meant to be lived in.
That realization changed everything I began decluttering and organizing my own home, working through each space with intention. My goal wasn’t perfection, but practicality—creating simple, functional systems that actually work for a busy family of five.
That journey led to the creation of Pretty and Practical.
Today, I help busy families create calm, functional homes through personalized, judgment-free decluttering and organization. My focus is on easy-to-maintain systems that support real life.
